Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this vital role, you will serve as a key partner in managing day-to-day human resources functions, acting as a broad, hands-on, point of contact for employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy enforcement. The HR Generalist position requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or business and handles compliance, payroll support, and performance management. Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Being the primary contact for employee inquiries, managing complaints, and mediating conflicts, handling all issues with professionalism and transparency.
- Talent Acquisition: Handling recruiting, interviewing, and sourcing for job vacancies.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitating the hiring process, Form I-9 maintenance, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
- Benefits & Payroll: Administering benefits enrollment, including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation claims, and leave management such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), ensuring compliance with applicable laws like OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). and assisting with payroll processing.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensuring company policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations through policy development, affirmative action planning, and contract management.
- Performance Management: Help facilitate employee evaluations, set performance benchmarks and assist managers with improvement plans or disciplinary actions
- Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions, maintain records of employee certifications, and evaluated development programs
- Community Outreach: Foster relationships within the community
Skills
- Organizational and time management: Prioritizing a wide variety of tasks efficiently. Proven ability to maintain accurate HR documentation including contracts, policies, training records, and incident reports while leveraging social media management tools for internal communications.

- Microsoft Office Suite: Especially Excel for reporting and tracking.
- Data analysis: Interpreting HR data to support decision-making.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
Requirements

Pay: $56,180.45 - $69,453.88 per year
