What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Hahn Ready Mix Company?
Hahn Ready Mix is currently seeking mechanics for our busy Ready Mix Shop in Davenport, IA.
The shop mechanics work on a wide range of equipment including ready mix trucks, loaders, tractor-trailers. The work schedule will vary. It may be up to 6 days per week of up to 10 hour days with overtime on both a voluntary or mandatory basis for work week as well as on Saturdays, depending upon business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must obtain or be able to obtain a class B commercial driver's license
- Safely operate and inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose defects.
- Analyze malfunctions and perform general overhaul, tune up or preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment.
- Repair, replace and adjust necessary units and parts.
