Job Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Taking phone messages
- Putting clients through to accountants when appropriate
- Answering client questions regarding tax return statuses
- Assisting clients in paying our invoices
- Assisting clients in electronically signing their e-file authorization forms
- Answering any questions / assisting clients in paying any tax due with their tax returns
- Intaking tax returns for preparation submitted through various means (electronically through our portal, via email, in person drop-off, etc.)
- Processing completed tax returns before client signing / pickup of final product
- Calling and/or emailing clients their signing / paying reminders
- Monitoring shared email inboxes
- Scheduling appointments as applicable, and determining which clients need appointments
- Client document management / scanning documents
- Electronically filing tax returns and tax-filing extensions

- The ability to engage with clients politely and professionally at all times is essential
- Ability to produce a quality work product with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to multi-task, with good time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to collaborate as a team
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Job Type:
- Seasonal, November 2025 through April 2026 (permanent position possible after tax season)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, November 2025 through April 2026
