Warehouse Operations Manager
Position Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operations and logistics of warehouse, including receiving, distribution, returns and transfers of products.
General Duties and Responsibilities
· Monitors the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse to ensure efficient and safe movement of product.
· Directly manages Warehouse Supervisors, Transportation Supervisor, Lead Drivers and Direct Drivers. Provides coaching and performance evaluation in order to maintain a cohesive, motivated and capable workforce.
· Establishes weekly driver work schedules and driver route pay calculations.
· Plans and implements warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
· Responsible for the maintenance and service of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks, in order to maintain operational reliability and facility integrity and safeguard company assets.
· Creates and maintains a safe and efficient operation of the warehouse; enforce all work and safety rules in order to ensure compliance with state and federal law, DOT, OSHA regulations, company policies and procedures
· Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials. Researches material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability and cost.
· Monitors, measures and generates reports on warehouse productivity and related operations matters
Qualifications

· Familiar with best practices for inventory control, fleet and driver management, loss prevention, quality control, productivity management, and human resource policies and procedures.
· Management experience in a warehouse environment or business involved in the distribution of goods.
· Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels Strong desire to focus on the timely completion of goals; ability to set specific measurable improvement goals and match resources, tools, and action plans to requirements for success
· Able to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and company proprietary systems.
· Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
· Good understanding of business finance.
Physical Demands
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear.
· The employee will be occasionally required to stoop, kneel and crouch.
· The employee must be able to manually handle occasionally (lift or push) items with or without materials handling equipment items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to able to travel with the use of personal or company vehicle

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
