Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role located in Augusta, GA. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing engineering solutions for hydro-transport systems and other material-handling projects. The role includes creating detailed mechanical designs, conducting performance evaluations, performing data analysis, managing engineering projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additional responsibilities may involve communication with clients to understand project requirements and ensure successful implementation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Design, CAD software, and drafting tools for product and system design.
- Strong fundamental mechanical knowledge
- Project Management and teamwork skills, including experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem-solving, Research, and Analytical skills to develop and optimize engineering solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and client interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Familiarity with EPC projects and the Oil Sands, Phosphate, or Aggregate industries is a plus.
- A Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain it is advantageous.
