Housing Choice Voucher Specialist - Grade E
Conducts interviews with Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants to determine continued occupancy as required by HUD regulations and Housing Authority Policy. Performs Annual and interim rent determinations and the processing of inspection requests. Communicates with private landlords regarding the needs and status of Voucher holders. Maintains case load files.
Minimum three years' experience in general office practice. Must have thorough knowledge of modern office practices and equipment and possess proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Office products. This position requires the ability to work independently with culturally diverse populations, to have logical thinking sequence to pay attention to precise details, to be deadline oriented, and to have high standards in ethics.
Starting salary ranges from $48,375 to $58,800, depending on experience, with annual increases up to $82,738.
