Hagan Health is looking to expand our psychotherapy department by hiring a CSW/Marriage and Family Therapy Associate! Our therapists work directly with Dr. Hagan and our nurse practitioners to provide wraparound services. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, IFS, emotionally focused therapy, etc.
- Engage clients through interventions tailored to their unique needs, including working with children, individuals with a variety of diagnoses and issues.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management strategies to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records following clinical documentation standards and medical terminology guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care services, ensuring comprehensive support for clients’ mental health needs.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver services remotely while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Marriage & Family Therapy Associate or CSW (Certified Social Worker), with eligibility for licensure if applicable.
- Ability to work with children, families, couples, and individuals with a variety of presenting problems.
- Proficiency in therapy interventions such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and systemic approaches.
- Strong understanding of clinical ethical guidelines including HIPAA compliance and state board regulations.
- Knowledge of mental health diagnosing using the DSM 5-TR.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with prescribers; experience working with special populations such as those with autism or OCD is a plus.
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies; experience in trauma-informed care including PTSD is desirable.
