Job Description
Responsible for maintaining Counter Sales and Customer Service for Firearms along with floor and counter sales of other Hunting Merchandise. Must support a strong commitment to world-class service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Experience/Qualifications/Duties
o Have knowledge of Firearms (Rifles, handguns, shotguns, optics, ammunition and shooting accessories.)
o Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs and making
product recommendations based on that analysis.
o Experience with ATF form 4473 and ATF preferred guidelines.
o Must be at least 21 years old to sell Firearms & Ammunition
o Able to read and understand firearm serial numbers.
o Remains product proficiency through ongoing product knowledge training.
o Assists with Seasonal Floor Merchandising.
o Keeps work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
o Keeps alert to any security issues and notifies management immediately.
o Always maintains department/vault security during business hours.
o Follows all company policies and procedures.
o Computer skills (Microsoft outlook, excel, FDLE background website, Epicor)
o Multi-tasking (phone calls, store radio communication, computer, face to face with customers)
