What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Technician position at Hagadone Marine Group?
At Hagadone Marine, we believe that an exceptional workplace is about more than just the shop itself, it’s also about environment, culture, people, & the opportunity to grow. As one of the largest single-point marine dealers in the country, we offer a unique environment designed for professionals looking to build a long term career in the marine industry. We represent 10 leading boat brands and are the only dealer in our area with facilities & access directly to beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene. We pride ourselves on ensuring our employees have the resources and support needed to succeed, including dedicated support staff, company-provided manufacturer specialty tools, and paid annual training with no cost to the employee. We offer year-round employment, providing the stability, resources, and opportunity to build a lasting career with a well-supported organization.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team where people genuinely look out for one another and work together to reach common goals while also working individually. Our technicians are able to spend their time doing what they enjoy, working on boats. With a strong reputation in the community and a diverse range of boats coming through the shop, no two days are exactly the same. We maintain a steady workflow throughout the year, giving our team the consistency of knowing there is always work to be done while providing opportunities to tackle new challenges, sharpen their skills, and take pride in the finished product. Most importantly, we’ve created a workplace where people enjoy coming to work, take pride in being part of our team, and have the opportunity to build something long-term.
We believe our employees should be rewarded for their work, which is why we offer a competitive hourly wage with opportunities for overtime, along with an uncapped commission program that pays an additional thirteen dollars for every billed hour. In addition to strong earning potential, our employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, access to Hagadone’s own medical clinic, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan. With guaranteed 40-hour work weeks and the opportunity to earn additional income through commission and overtime, we provide both the stability of a consistent paycheck and the ability to increase your earnings through your own performance.
