What You'll Do

As the Insurance Agent, you will have experience in property and casualty insurance to help grow and lead our efforts in our various markets. This position is a professional responsible for selling insurance policies to individuals and businesses to protect them against financial loss. The Insurance Agent will provide expert advice and will act as an advisor, evaluating a client's specific needs, financial status, and risk profile to recommend suitable coverage options, such as life, health, auto, or property insurance.

• Sell and manage insurance policies to ensure clients have the best coverage; use referrals and leads to find new clients.
• Develop expertise in products marketed and create proposals for clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals.
• Prepare insurance proposals, negotiate terms and premiums, and process applications and renewals.
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, assisting with claims inquiries and resolving customer complaints promptly.
• Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure high retention rates and identify cross-selling or up-selling opportunities.
• Educate client employees on risk and best practices to minimize exposure while following legal requirements when selling policies.
• Maintain Office Appearance to present professional atmosphere.
• Continues learning by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
• Demonstrate patience, humility, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Communicate personably and tactfully with customers of varying technical knowledge levels.
• Adhere to Aspire Insurance policies, procedures, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Active Property & Casualty License (Required)
• Minimum five years’ experience in a progressive insurance sales and growth position with commercial sales background.
• Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients.
• Personal or commercial insurance experience as an underwriter, producer agent or operations manager.
