Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing and construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, fabrication, and various carpentry techniques, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers the opportunity to work on custom cabinetry projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and precision throughout the fabrication process. Duties
- Construct, assemble, and install custom cabinets and furniture according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans for accurate fabrication
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to precise specifications
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, sanding, staining, or painting to achieve desired aesthetics
- Assist with related tasks including door hanging, fixture installation, or remodeling projects as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on-site for seamless project execution
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry fabrication or woodworking within construction or manufacturing environments
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and schematics reading
- Background in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or metal stud framing is advantageous
- Experience with construction estimating, remodeling, restoration industry projects, or water damage restoration is a plus
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical drawings required
- Prior work on construction sites involving flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, masonry, or roofing is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work safely in physically demanding environments
