Summary
Leads sales growth in the local Orlando market by developing and directing territory sales strategy, aligning people and resources to the best opportunities, and driving execution through a field-based sales team. Builds relationships with key influencers, customers, and partners to increase market penetration and profitable growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead local territory sales strategy aligned with company growth goals
- Identify priority markets, accounts, channels, and projects to drive growth
- Direct and develop a sales team, which may include Territory Sales, Specification, and Business Development roles
- Establish territory priorities, quotas, and performance expectations
- Build pipeline through major customers, influencers, and strategic projects
- Drive local sales and marketing efforts to improve market share and brand presence
- Evaluate market conditions and adjust strategy as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages employees within the Sales Department and is responsible for hiring, training, directing work, evaluating performance, resolving issues, and supporting team success in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success leading and creating sales growth across a territory, region, or market
- Experience building and executing territory or regional sales strategy
- Experience leading field sales teams and driving results through others
- Background in architectural hardware, building products, cabinetry, kitchen and bath, lighting, or related channels preferred
- Strong ability to translate market opportunity into focused sales action
