Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee monthly production operations within our manufacturing facility as we only build units once or twice a month and each build is 3-4 business days. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production staff at our manufacturing warehouse, ensure safety and quality standards are maintained, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet company goals. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Monitor manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations across the plant.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on operational procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate production records, Bill of Material inventory, Inventory shortages and reorder processes, report on key performance indicators, and prepare reports for management review.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule equipment inspections and repairs, minimizing downtime.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production supervision, with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software systems and basic computer skills.
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical certifications or degrees are preferred. This position is integral to maintaining our commitment to operational excellence and delivering high-quality products efficiently while fostering a safe workplace environment.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
