Business Development Intern – Role Description
This is a full-time internship role based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY with flexibility for remote opportunities. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in finance, market analysis, and energy policy, who are passionate about advancing scalable, carbon-free technology. This is an application for our Business Development team and will provide hands-on experience in strategic planning, financial modeling, and market research to support Hadron's commercial goals.
You will work closely with our senior leadership and cross-functional teams—including finance, engineering, and regulatory affairs—to support the analysis, strategy, and financial planning for Hadron’s micro modular reactor deployment. The role spans market research, financial modeling, and policy analysis, with opportunities to contribute directly to commercial strategy in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications & Skillsets
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling or market research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated interest in clean energy, infrastructure, or technology commercialization
- Familiarity with energy markets or project finance is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
