Job Description
HADPRO Hood & Duct Professionals is hiring full-time Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians to help clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems in restaurants, schools, and government facilities across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

What You’ll Do
- Work with a 2–6 person team cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems
- Remove grease buildup from hoods, fans, filters, and ductwork
- Prepare and protect kitchen areas before cleaning (cover equipment, wrap hoods, protect outlets)
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment: pressure washers, water heaters, wet vacs, and hand tools
- Climb ladders, work on rooftops, and access tight spaces as needed
- Communicate effectively with your team and the office
- Follow safety procedures and HADPRO’s professional standards on every job
Work Environment
- Hands-on, physical work (lifting 70 lbs repeatedly, kneeling, climbing, reaching)
- Greasy, wet, and dirty conditions — you’ll get dirty every shift
- Indoor and outdoor work, in both hot and cold weather
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Requirements
- 5 years of manual labor or trade experience (cleaning, pressure washing, construction, etc.)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years)
- Pass a U.S. Government background check (required for many sites)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to lift 70 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop or job site
- English required; Spanish bilingual a plus
