Schedule all IEP meetings (initial, re-evaluation, and annual)Monitor and track special education timelines to ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Massachusetts Special Education Regulations (603 CMR 28.00).Prepare and distribute notices, consent forms, evaluation reports, meeting invitations, and other required documentation.Maintain active and inactive special education records and ensure confidentiality of student information.Support the Director of Student Services in managing special education processes and documentation.Coordinate communication among families, evaluators, therapists, service providers, administrators, and out-of-district placements.Assist with Medicaid claiming and special education data reporting requirements.Maintain and support special education management systems and databases.Oversee special programs in the student information system including: meeting invitations, creation and finalization of IEPs, evaluation consents, evaluation reports, Special Education coding, and progress reports.Respond to Social Security claimsManage early intervention referralsAssist with circuit breaker claim and school choice special education increment submissionsOrder supplies, materials, and subscriptionsProcess and file special education invoicesMaintain OOD roster and contractsMaintain homeschool filesMaintain special education transportation rosterManage communication from special education officeAssist with Medicaid claimingAssist with summer school planning and coordination
