Hadley Exhibits Inc. is one of the nation’s top exhibit houses designing, fabricating and installing museum and tradeshow exhibits for clients big and small. With hundreds of years of collective experience, our team of skilled craftspeople lead the industry in creative solutions and one-of-a-kind creations to preserve and present our clients history and current interests. We do custom fabrication; no two projects are the same.
What we do:
- Custom building and fabrication using raw materials
- Make beautiful showcases and custom graphic reading rails, circular theater structures, interactive exhibits with gears and integrated computers and moving parts and then go and install all of it onsite
- Occasionally create a product from an idea only, without detailed instructions
- Repair damaged products under warranty
- Fabricate decorative trim and surfaces
What we hope to find in the ideal candidate:
Hadley Exhibits is looking for highly skilled carpenters who will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing and repairing components for exhibits by following shop drawings and blueprints. Who also possess the following skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications.
- Ability to use hand and measuring tools for cutting, shaping and assembling materials.
- Good hand/eye coordination with ability to put out quality products.
- Be able to follow standards and procedures, adjusting as necessary.
- Possess understanding of carpentry equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions when able.
- Keeping current on new equipment, processes, and materials in the carpentry trade.
- Completion of secondary school is preferred.
- Or A combination of over 4 years of experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry.
- Ability to comply with rules and safety regulations.
- OSHA or other pertinent safety/skills training.
- Willingness to work full-time and overtime when deadlines warrant it.
