Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Tech Lead / Solution Architect to lead the integration of a newly acquired Ruby on Rails-based product with an existing enterprise Java platform. This is a highly strategic role requiring deep technical expertise across both Ruby on Rails and Java ecosystems, strong architecture leadership, and the ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will drive architecture decisions, integration strategy, scalability planning, and cross-platform alignment while ensuring long-term maintainability and business continuity.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of software development and architecture experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails and Java-based architectures
- Extensive experience with system integration, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, cloud-native applications, and scalable backend systems
- Experience designing enterprise integration solutions between heterogeneous platforms
- Strong understanding of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and engineering productivity platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams preferred
