Trainee QC Inspector

We are seeking a Trainee QC Inspector to join the Quality Control team, reporting to the Team Leader.

The role involves verifying products through visual, dimensional, electrical, and fibre optics testing, including first off, in-process, and final inspections. The inspector will assist with external customer inspections and create documentation packages to meet internal and client standards. Full training on test equipment, documentation, and procedures will be provided.

Qualifications Include

• National 5 in Mathematics or equivalent
• At least two years of workshop experience
• Experience with fibre optics is advantageous but not mandatory
• Understanding of technical drawings/wiring schematics is preferred

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, hydrostatic, air/gas, hydraulic, electrical, and fibre optic tests
• Perform goods inward inspections and report non-conformances
• Interpret drawings and test results, liaise with various departments, and ensure measurement equipment calibration
• Develop documentation packages and ensure compliance with quality procedures before dispatch
