Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and hair extension services using advanced techniques such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
• Operate salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional recommendations, and upselling retail products like nail care items or hair accessories.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sterilizing equipment such as straight razors, and adhering to health regulations at all times.
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries with excellent communication skills.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in cosmetology and barbering techniques while fostering a positive team environment.
• Assist with store management tasks such as inventory control, retail math calculations for sales targets, and organizing promotional events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hair styling, hair extensions, barbering or cosmetology with a strong portfolio of work.
• Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Skilled in color theory to create customized looks tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Proficiency in advanced services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide personalized consultations.
• Ability to uphold sanitation standards rigorously while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $14.54 - $29.07 per hour
