Experienced Paralegal

The Position

Our eleven-lawyer Denver trial firm is looking for an experienced trial legal assistant/paralegal that specializes in criminal and civil litigation work to join our dynamic practice. Over its four-decade history, the firm has fostered a relaxed and collaborative culture that emphasizes results, not formalities. This is a unique opportunity for the right personality.

Qualifications

At least eight to 10 years of experience in trial paralegal work is required.

In addition, the following experience is required:

·       Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel and SharePoint

·       Experience with calendaring court deadlines.

·       Experience with e-filing in Colorado state and federal courts.

·       Knowledge of and experience with at least one e-discovery platform.

·       Ability to cite-check based on Bluebook standards.

·       Experience supporting multi-day trials.

·       Experience with administrative duties.

Experience with these programs is not required but is recommended:

·       Westlaw

·       Relativity e-discovery

·       Trial Director Software

·       Laserfiche

Work Arrangements

This is an in-office position, but staff are permitted to work remotely one day per week. The firm is located in Capitol Hill.
