Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive 2D shop drawings and coordinated 3D mechanical, plumbing, and ductwork models from architectural and engineering plans.
- Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit to draft highly accurate spatial layouts for commercial new construction projects.
- Run automated clash-detection workflows using Navisworks to flag and resolve spatial conflicts before fabrication.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and field supervisors to integrate real-world feedback into technical submittals.
- Organize and maintain digital drawing logs, project revisions, and BIM coordination files.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of dedicated drafting experience specifically within the plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical trade.
- Software Mastery: Proficient in AutoCAD MEP or Revit. Experience with Navisworks or SysQue is a major plus.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and accurately interpret complex commercial architectural, structural, and MEP engineering blueprints.
- Location Fit: Ability to work full-time, on-site at our Newark, NJ headquarters.
- Collaboration: Strong English communication skills to sync effectively with project managers and participate in trade coordination updates
- $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 / year (Paid Weekly Baseline: Approx. $1,346.15 - $1,442.31 / week)
