About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Medical Assistant to join our growing pediatric clinic. Our ideal team member loves working with children, communicates kindly with families, and is eager to learn in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism
- Take and record vital signs, height/weight, vision/hearing screenings
- Assist with pediatric examinations and procedures
- Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care testing
- Translate between English-speaking provider and Arabic-speaking patients/families during well-child and sick visits.
- Communicate chief complaints, medical discussions, and after-visit instructions clearly and accurately.
- During lower patient volume, assist with clinic cleaning and administrative tasks such as: calling patients regarding lab result, filing and organizing patient information.
- Uphold clinic standards, including adherence to dress code, punctuality, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or a background in science/medicine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic demeanor.
- Must support and promote vaccination as part of quality pediatric care.
Preferred Background
- Experience as a medical assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems.
