Overview:
The Design Operations Associate will work closely with cross functional partners to ensure consistent and accurate workflow across all brands.
Key Accountabilities:
- Check and oversee tech packs for all details throughout the season
- Facilitate the uploading of tech packs inclusive of spec pages, and artwork for sourcing
- Ensure all production package requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Meet all deadlines in adherence to the design calendar
- Work directly with Design, Technical, and Sourcing on all seasonal style specifications
- Maintain Design Standards across specified brand(s)
- Attend and participate in fittings and ensure changes/updates are executed within tech packs and communicated to Sourcing/Overseas Offices
- Resolve pre-production and production issues by partnering with both design and sourcing/production/PA/TD to ensure design’s intent is met
- Manage daily communication with Overseas Offices/Factories and expedite resolutions to issues in a concise and timely manner
- Communicate and confirm updates/changes to styles to Souring Team
- Coordinate any additional materials needed for Production
- Communicate on workload, solve for solutions, and elevate issues
- Attend and participate in Daily Team meetings and Training sessions
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or related field
- 2 years of experience in the fashion industry as an Assistant or Associate
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign)

Salary : $55,000 - $85,000
