Development Estimator

Hadco Construction is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Development Estimator to join our team in Lehi, UT. This role is focused on preparing accurate proposals and cost estimates for residential and commercial site development projects.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for excavation, utilities, and other site development scopes
• Review plans, specifications, and proposals to determine project requirements
• Coordinate with operations and project teams to ensure estimates align with field execution
• Track and analyze historical data to improve accuracy and competitiveness
• Use B2W and earthwork calculation software (INSITE & AGTEK) to support estimating processes
• Maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships to gather pricing and scope details

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in civil construction estimating, preferably in site development
• Strong understanding of excavation, utilities, and other related scopes
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with B2W, INSITE, AGTEK, and ComputerEase preferred
• Ability to manage multiple estimates at once and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and strong communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a drug screen
