Position Summary
Hadar Athletic, MFG Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Material Cutter to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for accurately preparing vinyl, foam, webbing, and other materials used to manufacture athletic equipment. The Material Cutter is one of the first steps in production, making precision and organization critical to the success of the entire operation.
We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and wants to be part of building products used by athletes across the country.
Responsibilities
- Cut vinyl, foam, webbing, and other production materials according to work orders and drawings.
- Read measuring devices and accurately follow specifications.
- Prepare material kits for production and sewing teams.
- Inspect materials for defects before cutting.
- Minimize waste while maximizing material utilization.
- Label and organize cut materials for production.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized cutting stations.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and moving materials as needed.
- Communicate shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating cutting equipment, production machinery, or industrial tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflow and production scheduling.
- Ability to read work orders, drawings, and measurements accurately.
- Experience working in a made-to-order or custom manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify potential production bottlenecks before they become problems.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, bend, twist, and walk throughout the workday.
- Push and pull large rolls of material.
- Ability to safely operate cutting equipment and material handling equipment.

- Keeps production supplied without creating bottlenecks.
- Plans work based on production priorities, not simply the next work order.
- Produces accurate cuts with minimal material waste.
- Maintains a clean and organized cutting area.
- Communicates shortages, quality concerns, and production risks early.
- Understands how their role affects every downstream operation.
- Consistently helps the team meet customer ship dates.
Raise available after 90 days if Material Cutter excels expectations.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
