Inside Sales Coordinator

Hackmann Lumber Company is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Inside Sales Coordinator to join our team. The candidate should have a strong knowledge of Decking, Windows and Doors. This position works directly with contractors, builders, and DIY customers to provide product knowledge, quotes, order coordination, and exceptional customer service related to windows and doors. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors, builders, and retail customers with window and door product selection
• Prepare quotes, sales orders, and material takeoffs accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate special orders, deliveries, and vendor communication
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs and project specifications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat contractor accounts
• Follow up on open quotes and customer inquiries
• Work closely with outside sales staff, yard personnel, and management to ensure smooth project execution
• Resolve customer issues professionally and promptly
• Maintain accurate pricing and order documentation
• Stay informed on current products, trends, and manufacturer offerings within the window and door industry

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience in lumber, building materials, millwork, windows, or doors is required
• Knowledge of residential construction and building materials strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to read blueprints or construction plans is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
• Proficient with computers and point-of-sale/order entry systems
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
