Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides comprehensive healthcare services—including medical, dental, mental health, and pharmacy care—to residents of Muskegon County. HCC is looking for a highly self-motivated individual with exceptional phone and clinical skills.
Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Clinical Phone Specialist functions using a team-based approach as a member of the Integrated Care Team and is the patient’s first line contact with the medical staff when they call with a concern or question.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant or nursing training program required.
- Current, active, and in-good-standing LPN licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Medical Assistant certification or registration is a plus but not required.
- CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Knowledgeable in nursing principles, practices, and protocols.
- Strong oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively assess patients during limited phone conversations.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Accurate and professional oral and written communication skills.
- Passionate about working with underserved populations.
- Proficient in computer skills, including EHR software programs.
