Child Care Manager - Maywood
The Role:
Hackensack UMC Fitness and Wellness Powered by the Giants is currently looking for a Child Care Manager! Child Care Manager helps with activities of the fitness centers child care. These include, but are not limited to, directing children in playing and resting, organizing and participating in games, and maintaining discipline. Must like to interact with small children as well as be able to lift them.
The primary duties of a Child Care Manager include, but are not limited to:
· Manages childcare attendants and directs activities of our brand new state of the art fitness center’s child care facility
· Confer with parents regarding facility activities, policies, and enrollment procedures
· Helps children remove outer garments like jackets, sweaters, etc.
· Organizes and participates in games (including board and video games), reads to children, and teaches them simple painting, drawing, handwork, songs, and similar activities.
· Directs children in resting and toileting.
· Helps children develop habits of caring for own clothing and picking up and putting away toys and books.
· Maintains discipline
