- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
- The Emergency Management Coordinator & Plant Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of plant services, emergency preparedness, and biomedical engineering within the healthcare facility.
- This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, supports hospital-wide emergency management initiatives, and supervises the maintenance and performance of biomedical equipment to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
- The supervisor works closely with internal departments, regulatory agencies, and external vendors to maintain operational efficiency and readiness.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management
- Healthcare Management, related fields, or equivalent experience in Emergency Management Healthcare Management, related fields, or equivalent experience in Emergency Management
- Experience in project implementation/management and capability of assistance in report writing and grant proposal preparation.
- Complete the FEMA IS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800, and HSEEP courses within 12 months of the hire date.
- Comprehension of the emergency management processes and key healthcare response and operations functions.
