- Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200 employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Responsibilities:
The Registrar serves as the liaison between Finance, Nursing, and Physician offices. The role obtains accurate demographic information, and records and verifies all pertinent information from insurance companies in respect to a patient's authorization for services, eligibility, and benefits.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 years working in medical/and or medical insurance fields.
- Medical terminology.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong ability to multitask.
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
