Mountainside Medical Center is seeking a nurse practitioner to serve in the role of Oncology Nurse Navigator joining its established team in Montclair, NJ.
We are searching for a compassionate caregiver who will assist in guiding patients through the cancer care journey- connecting them with internal/external resources by assisting with coordinating multidisciplinary care and ensuring timely referrals and treatment initiation.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with New Jersey license or ability to obtain.
Preferred Training:
- Minimum of 5 years of oncology nursing experience w/ demonstrated expertise in complex cancer care pathways.
- Oncology NP Certification
About this Position:
- Join 3 oncologists and an experienced support staff
- Enjoy working in the Inpatient/Outpatient settings
- Manage oncology patient care coordination across the continuum (diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and palliative care)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m-5 p.m.
- No Call
- No Weekend Requirement
