Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers
- Optimize existing SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Implement indexing strategies and query tuning techniques
- Work alongside a very small technical team to provide redundancy
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server architecture and tools
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and normalization
- Knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies
- Experience applying programming methods using SQL
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into efficient SQL solutions
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills for database-related issues
- Database management experience
- Experience with version control with tools such as Git, CICD
- Understanding of APIs
- 837 claim and EDI experience
- Soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and teamwork are equally important
