We are seeking an experienced and strategic to lead the design, implementation, and management of our Oracle database environments. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of mission-critical Oracle databases across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to database architecture and operations.

Responsibilities

• Database Architecture & Design
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available Oracle database solutions.
• Define and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to align database architecture with business needs.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including SQL tuning, indexing strategies, and resource utilization.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement and maintain database security controls including user access, encryption, and auditing.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
• Operations & Maintenance
• Oversee backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, and Exadata environments.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex database issues.
