Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings
- Create dynamic data reports
- Apply knowledge to develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
- Travel up to 10%
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or, or a High School Diploma and 9 years of Data Scientist experience, or an associate’s degree and 7 years of data scientist experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- 3 years of experience performing Data Scientist related work
- 3 years of experience supporting Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) organization and operations
- Familiarity with the QLIK and Tableau
- Ability to conduct briefings to Senior Military & Civil Service personnel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power platforms
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess and active or current Top-Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI eligibility
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
