CNA / Caregiver (Client Care Advocate)

Hacienda Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Caregivers/Client Care Advocates (CCAs) in our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) located in Phoenix, Arizona.

In this rewarding role, you will provide hands-on support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their highest level of independence, health, and quality of life. Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Full-Time, 36 Hours per Week

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday (2 openings)

Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Full-Time, 36 Hours per Week

What You'll Do

Direct Client Care

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Dressing
  • Feeding
  • Toileting
  • Repositioning and mobility assistance
• Promote resident dignity, choice, and independence.
• Support residents in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Escort and transport residents to appointments and activities as assigned.
• Participate in on-campus and off-campus resident activities.
• Ensure residents' personal belongings and equipment are maintained and ready for daily use.

Clinical & Support Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs (CNA responsibilities).
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with individualized care plans and active treatment programs.
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and client-specific programs.
• Maintain compliance with required certifications and training.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and educational sessions.
• Adhere to all Hacienda Healthcare policies and procedures.

For CNA Applicants:

• Current Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, rehabilitation, or developmental disability setting is a plus.

For Caregiver / Client Care Advocate Applicants:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous caregiving, direct care, healthcare, behavioral health, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate attitude and desire to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain during onboarding.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of providing direct care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
