Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy times, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures at all times.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
