POSITION DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time (30 hours/week) 1-year national service position, serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Member with Habitat for Humanity in Wisconsin. As the Fundraising VISTA with Habitat for Humanity Dane County, you will build capacity by improving and advancing fundraising strategies, with a focus on grants and individual donors. Objectives include:
- Perform prospect research on grant opportunities, corporate sponsorships, family foundations, and individuals for Habitat for Humanity of Dane County.
- Update annual fund plan for individual donors, including appeals, monthly donors, and legacy giving.
- Clean up donor data and update records to facilitate transition to the new database.
