What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
- Process sales accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Merchandise and price donated items to maximize sales and visual appeal.
- Assist donors with donations and help evaluate incoming merchandise.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail and warehouse environment.
- Support inventory movement, loading, unloading, and warehouse operations.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Serve as a positive ambassador for Habitat for Humanity and our mission.
- 1–2 years of retail, customer service, home improvement, warehouse, or related experience.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Passion for serving the community and supporting Habitat's mission.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (heavier items with assistance).
- Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the day.
- Ability to work in an active retail and warehouse environment.
- Comfortable using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and similar equipment.
