Description
Family Services Interpreter reports to the Homeownership Success Manager. This position is responsible for interpreting for the homeownership program, home repair program, outreach, homeownership success, and any other programs within Habitat for Humanity Omaha. The hours of this position are as needed depending on shifting client needs.

Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and accurate interpretation.
- Promptness to ensure clients will be able to communicate with staff upon arrival.
- Ability to act as a liaison between clients and Habitat staff to remove cultural or linguistic barriers.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Pashto as well as English.
- Access to transportation to attend meetings at various locations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Outstanding customer services skills with diverse, multilingual populations and organizational partners.
- Self-motivated and organized towards team success, organizational goals, and individual professional development.
