The Construction Site Supervisor in Training (CSiT) at Habitat for Humanity of Durham is a full-time role designed for individuals new to construction. Over a one to two-year training period, the CSiT will learn the skills necessary to transition into a Site Supervisor position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of home construction and remodeling, ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and to quality standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate volunteers while fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive build-site environment.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, staff, and homebuyers to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
- Manage site logistics, including scheduling, inspections, materials, and equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols and complete necessary documentation to support efficient project operations.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of residential construction experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Supervising experience and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
