Construction Paint Manager

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Construction Painting Manager will facilitate painting services for each core Habitat program referred to as Neighborhood Revitalization, Aging in Place, Veterans, and New Construction. The Painting Manager will base the painting’s performance according to the plans and/or a specific scope of work from start to finish. The Painting Manager must be a self-starter that is capable of and ready to provide task self-performance or supervision when necessary.

ESSENTIAL CORE FUNCTIONS:

Neighborhood Revitalization / Veterans / Aging in Place / New Construction

Responsible for facilitating all aspects of assigned painting projects for each core Habitat program including but not limited to:

• Interior or exterior complete paint projects from start to finish.
• Painting preparation for volunteer events.
• Required to perform hands on physical tasks as needed or supervision as required.
• Maintain schedules to ensure work is performed in accordance with scope of work and established budget.
• Available full-time on a Tuesday through Saturday basis.
• Proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of each spray rig or other equipment.
• Trained and proficient in creating painting material and labor take offs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• *** Other construction duties as assigned if painting is unavailable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Professional Painting Experience (5 yrs. Minimum.) 
• Basic knowledge of other aspects of construction preferred. 
• Able to work a Tuesday – Saturday work week.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local lead-based paint regulations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years professional residential home painting field experience.

OFFICE TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

• The Painting Manager must be able to use or learn to use basic office equipment such as computer (Microsoft Office), printer, phone, copiers, calculator, and other communication vehicles.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
