Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Intern to assist the CEO in sourcing deals, researching prospects, implementing and maintaining CRM, and shadowing the CEO on sales and customer calls. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development within the music industry.
SCOPE OF Responsibilities:
- Assist the CEO in sourcing potential deals and opportunities within the independent music industry.
- Conduct research on prospects, industry trends, and market opportunities.
- Support the implementation and management of CRM for lead tracking and management.
- Shadow the CEO during sales meetings, presentations, and customer calls to gain insight into the sales process.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to develop strategies for business growth and expansion.
- Assist in the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, scheduling meetings, and organizing documents.
Candidate Skill Set:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software.
