Restaurant Crew Member

Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Restaurant Crew Members to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a quick-service and fast-food restaurant environment, ensuring a positive experience for every guest. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service while contributing to a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers or new products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation at all times.
• Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between food prep, cashiering, and customer service duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurants, or retail environments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed; punctuality is essential.
