Duties
- Greet customers warmly in multiple languages, creating an inviting environment that encourages repeat visits
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for smooth transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and food orders accurately while maintaining excellent cash handling practices
- Assist with food preparation and food service tasks to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Upsell menu items or products by engaging customers with friendly suggestions to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front-of-house area, including bussing tables and food handling areas
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently in retail or grocery store settings
- Experience in customer service roles that require bilingual communication skills is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and retail math tasks
- Background in culinary experience or kitchen work can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong time management skills combined with a proactive approach to upselling and sales are essential for success
