Haak Vineyards and Winery is seeking a Sales and Events Coordinator who will play a key role in driving revenue growth. This is a sales-first position focused on generating event bookings, building client relationships, increasing wine club and tasting room sales, and supporting the successful execution of winery events.

This role is ideal for someone who is energized by selling, comfortable following up quickly, and motivated by turning inquiries into booked business. While event coordination is part of the position, the primary objective is to grow revenue through proactive sales activity and strong client management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate revenue through event sales, private bookings, corporate events, and group experiences
  • Respond to inbound event and group inquiries quickly and professionally
  • Follow up on leads consistently to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, community partners, wedding prospects, and repeat customers
  • Promote winery experiences, tastings, memberships, and add-on offerings to increase average booking value
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and track leads, follow-ups, proposals, and closed business
  • Prepare event proposals, pricing, contracts, and booking details
  • Coordinate logistics with internal teams to ensure events are executed smoothly
  • Support onsite event execution as needed to deliver an excellent guest experience
  • Identify opportunities to upsell wine, food, private experiences, and future bookings
  • Help develop outreach strategies to attract new event and hospitality business
  • Monitor sales activity and report on bookings, conversion rates, and revenue performance

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in sales, event sales, hospitality sales, or a related client-facing role
  • Strong closing, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to meet goals and generate revenue
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads and event details at once
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events require it
  • Experience in hospitality, wineries, restaurants, or venues is preferred
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
