Construction Laborer
H34 Contracting is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This position will support our remodeling and general construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople, handling materials, maintaining clean and organized jobsites, and completing general construction tasks.
We are looking for someone who works hard, shows up reliably, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with jobsite setup, preparation, and cleanup
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment
- Safely operate common hand and power tools
- Remove debris and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Assist carpenters and other skilled tradespeople as needed
- Perform demolition and general construction labor
- Follow directions from project supervisors and crew leads
- Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements
- Help protect customers' homes and property while work is being completed
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and with attention to quality
Qualifications
- Drivers License
- Drug Screening
- Dependable and able to arrive at work on time
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, and performing construction-related labor
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic familiarity with construction tools is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to details
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely and professionally around customers, coworkers, and subcontractors
Previous construction experience is helpful but not necessarily required for the right candidate. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, motivated, and interested in developing construction skills.
