Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter – Manufacturing/Industrial
Job Type: 6-month 1099 contract
Location and Pay: US based; approximately $50 to 60/hr based on experience
- This position requires ITAR compliance and may involve access to technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Sponsorship is not available now nor in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking to significantly ramp-up our hiring for approximately 4 to 6 months and are seeking a resourceful and focused Manufacturing Recruiter to help us staff our skilled trades roles. The 1099 Recruiter will manage recruiting activities from sourcing through candidate presentation while partnering with HR to fill positions efficiently and with high-quality candidates.
- Manage the recruiting processes from assisting with job descriptions, talent sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer process.
- Conduct initial candidate screening interviews.
- Evaluate candidates for technical qualifications, work history, and cultural fit.
- Present the HR team with qualified candidates, interview summaries, and recommendations.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with offer negotiations, as requested.
- Provide recruiting activity updates, candidate pipelines, and market feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary business information and candidate data.
- Manage job postings via Paycor with Indeed, LinkedIn and other social media.
- Source qualified candidates using professional networks, job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Key roles to be recruited include: CNC Machinists, Skilled Welders, Fabricators/Finishers, and Quality Professionals.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
Qualifications
- Three or more years of recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting for manufacturing or industrial organizations.
- Demonstrated success filling skilled trades and technical positions.
- Strong sourcing and networking abilities.
- Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Paycor Recruiting and Indeed is preferred.

- The Contractor is responsible for determining the manner and means of performing recruiting services.
- The Contractor supplies their own equipment, software, workspace, and business expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The Contractor is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, insurance, and business licensing applicable to their services.
- Nothing in this engagement creates an employer-employee relationship or entitles the Contractor to Company-sponsored benefits.
