Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and customers warmly, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage front desk duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
- Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to enhance their experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Conduct inventory checks, assist with stock replenishment, and support store organization efforts
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in team coordination when needed
- Ability to perform product demos confidently while educating customers about various items
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without being pushy
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail sales strategies
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and inventory management
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
