Responsibilities
- Install water treatment systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites following blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and modify system components accurately.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and HVAC diagrams to execute precise installations.
- Conduct heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites or client locations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling or renovation projects involving plumbing or mechanical systems.
- Document service activities thoroughly, including system diagnostics, repairs performed, parts used, and time logs for each job.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, plumbing, or HVAC with a strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematics reading.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to water treatment or similar industries is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly while maintaining safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for travel between job sites.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise installations.
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, carpentry, remodeling projects, or handyman work is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
